Peanut Butter, Fig & Hazelnut Bars

Preparation time: 15 minutes + 2 hours setting

Peanut butter lovers eat your heart out! We were amazed at how simple these were to make and they taste super DELICIOUS. It's very unlikely these will last 2 weeks so maybe put a lock on your fridge 🤣. 

INGREDIENTS

  • 2 cups Sweet Roasted Peanut Butter ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
  • 1/2 cup coconut oil⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
  • 1/2 tsp sea salt⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
  • 1.5 cups dried figs (stems removed)⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
  • 1/2 cup hazelnuts⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

METHOD

  1. Cut figs into quarters
  2. Blend together the hazelnuts & figs until it starts to stick together in a food processor
  3. Line a 8x6 baking dish and pat the crust down firmly
  4. Blend together peanut butter, coconut oil, maple & sea salt and pour into the baking dish
  5. Place baking dish in freezer for 2 hours or until hard and cut into slices
  6. Store in the fridge for up to 2 weeks
