We’ve combined the mighty chia seed, flaxseed, and hemp seed with a splash of vibrant blue spirulina and the natural sweetness of blueberries. It’s the perfect blend for an easy mornings - just mix, let them chill overnight, and enjoy a wholesome, satisfying breakfast that’s ready when you are. And if you’re craving a touch of sweetness, a drizzle of maple syrup will make these chia pots your new favourite morning treat.

INGREDIENTS

  • 3 tablespoons chia seeds
  • 1 tablespoon flaxseeds
  • 1 tablespoon hemp seeds
  • 1 teaspoon blue spirulina
  • 1 cup plant-based milk (we recommend Vitasoy Calcium Plus)
  • 1/2 cup frozen blueberries, mixed through
  • Optional: 1 teaspoon maple syrup

METHOD

  1. In a medium-sized bowl or jar, combine the chia seeds, flaxseeds, and hemp seeds.
  2. Add the blue spirulina and milk, stirring well to ensure all the ingredients are evenly mixed.
  3. Mix in the frozen blueberries, distributing them throughout the mixture.
  4. Add the maple syrup to taste and stir to combine (this is optional).
  5. Cover the bowl or jar and refrigerate overnight, or for at least 4 hours, until the chia seeds have absorbed the liquid and the mixture has thickened.
  6. In the morning, give the chia pot a good stir (or shake if in a jar) before serving. You can add more soy milk if you prefer a looser consistency.

Enjoy your Overnight Chia Pot as is, or topped with extra fresh berries, nuts, or a drizzle of maple syrup! And for a guilt-free after dinner pudding, add maple and heat before eating.
